MATLAMA FC THRASHES ACE MASERU FC

On Sunday 8th October Matlama FC recorded their first victory of Vodacom Premier league after defeating their rivals Ace Maseru at Ratjomose ground by 2-0. Tse Putsoa opened their lead through Poloko Ramarikhoane who scored a beautiful goal just few minutes before the end of a challenging first half.

Matlama FC star Jane Thabantšo registered his first goal of the season just five minutes into second half, extending the lead to 2-0. It was an exciting but challenging game as these two teams are Maseru rivals and it was the most anticipated derby when Ace Maseru booked their place in Vodacom Premier league.

Matlama FC enjoyed their dominance throughout the game but were unlucky to make heaviest defeat after missing several possible chances. However Tse Putsoa beat Ace Maseru fair and square.

This was a great start for Matlama FC because this victory gives players enough confidence to prepare for next Premier league game against Botha-Buthe based side, Lifofane FC.
